The  Benson County Transportation is a public service available on a scheduled basis for transportation to medical appointments, shopping, etc., in Benson County or the surrounding area.  Local rides are given uptown for weekly shopping, medical services, salon appointments, just to name a few.  Frequent trips are scheduled for Devils Lake, with occasional trips to  Grand Forks, Bismarck and Minot.  Medical trips can be arranged so you can get to your doctor appointments at Harvey, Rugby, Devils Lake and Cando.

Senior Meals and Services invite area residents to join us for meals every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at noon.  In Maddock the meals will be served at the Community Center, at Minnewaukan the Senior Center.

Home-delivered meals for those 60 and over are available in the communities of Maddock, Minnewaukan and Leeds.  This service can prove to be a perfect solution for those homebound, recently hospitalized, or otherwise not up to preparing a full course meal.

For your convenience, frozen meals and soup are available for days which meals are not delivered.  Everyone, regardless of age, is welcome!

The suggested meal price for those over 60 years of age is $3.50, pay as you are able.  For those under 60 the price is $5.50.  We ask you to please call ahead to ensure that enough food is available. 

Minnewaukan residents who are interested in meals can reach Dorothy at the Senior Center at 701-473-5766 or at home at 701-473-5517.  Maddock and Leeds residents should call the Maddock meal site at 701-438-2260.
